Wimbledon 2010 ranking, schedule, TV channel details, live streaming


YEAR'S BIGGEST tennis event, Wimbledon 2010 championship is going to start from Monday 21 June at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London. Wimbledon 2010 is the 124th edition of grass court tennis tournament and the third Grand Slam tennis event of the year.

The grass court superstar and six-times Wimbledon champion Roger Federer and stylish and powerful Serena Williams are the defending men's and women's champions at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon.

 

Roger Federer received the No. 1 seed for Wimbledon ahead of world no. 1 Rafael Nadal in a reverse of their world rankings. Wimbledon uses its discretion to seed players based on their grass-court record. In the women's single Williams sisters, Serena and Venus are on the top two positions.

The two-week long Grand Slam tournament's schedule draw will be held on Friday June 18 from 10 am. The grass court tennis tournament Wimbledon will telecast live on ESPN and NBC. On Saturday, July 3, Women’s final and Sunday, July 4 Men’s final will be telecast live on NBC from 9 am. Live streaming of the Wimbledon 2010 championship will also be available on number of sites.
