PKF announces schedule of Kabaddi matches with Iran


THE PAKISTAN Kabaddi Federation has announced the schedule of kabaddi matches with Iran here on Monday. The matches will be held in Islamabad at the Liaquat gymnasium of Pakistan Sports Complex.


The series will consist of four matches starting on September 29th. The first match between the two teams will start at 4 pm on Wednesday, the second match will be played on September 30 at 4 pm, while the third match between Pakistan and Iran will be played on October 1 at 4 pm. The visiting team would be in action in the fourth and last match of the series on October 2 at 4 pm.

 

According to Muhammad Sarwar, secretary, Pakistan Kabaddi Federation, the tour of Iranian team to Pakistan would be helpful for the preparations of the upcoming Asian Games. “Performance of players  would be enhanced and  they  will improve their gaming skills  which  will benefit us benefit in Asian Games”, he said.

 

He  also  hoped  that  Pakistani team would  be  among the  favourite teams  of the Asian  games  and  Pakistani players  would give stars to the  name  of Pakistan in the mega  event.


The Iranian Kabaddi  team is touring Pakistan for the preparations  of Asian Games which  are  going  to be held in China this  year in November. Pakistan Kabaddi Federation  has also  organized training  camps for the  Asian games.
