THE AKHIL Bharat Hindu Mahasabha approached the Supreme Court on Monday and filed a caveat in the Apex Court to pre-empt any ex-parte order on the Ayodhya land dispute. In the petition, the Mahasabha has asked the apex court not to pass any order or appeal against the verdict that was passed by the Allahabad High Court on September 30. They also pressed that any petition against the aforesaid verdict may not be entertained without even hearing it.
The caveat was filed on behalf of the organisation by its national president, Swami Chakrapani. The General Secretary of the Mahasabha, Indira Tiwari stated that a petition will most likely be filed which makes it clear that it does not favour any compromise on the issue and sought legal intervention and solution for this entire issue. She further added that the organisation wants only legal solution. We are against any type of compromise as we are in favour of constructing a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Tiwari also said that the common objective of constructing a grand temple would be achieved through the cooperation of all those, who were party to the suit in the High Court.
It may be noted that soon after the verdict was out, the Sunni Waqf board expressed its discontentment and had contemplated to approach the Supreme Court with another review petition.
