I will contest from Pulivendula if Party asks me to: Vivekananda

YS VIVEKANANDA Reddy has clarified in a press meet that he would continue in Congress party despite his family members Jagan Mohan Reddy’s and his mother Vijayalaxmi’s resignation from their respective seats at Kadapa and Pulivendula.

By the looks of it, Vivekananda Reddy’s words give an impression that a sort-of war has started between the families of Jaganmohan Reddy and his paternal uncle Vivekananda. Vivekananda Reddy recently went to Delhi and met Sonia Gandhi. He was also assured of a berth in the ministry.

He also told the press that if Party high command has ordered him to contest from Pulivendula he was ready to obey. Pulivendula was represented earlier by Vijayalakshmi wife of YSR. Vijayalakshmi also resigned from Pulivendula Assembly seat along with son Jagan Mohan Reddy who resigned from Kadapa Parliament seat.
Jaganmohan Reddy has particularly alleged that Congress high command is strategically dividing the family.

Andhra Pradesh’s political scene seems to be mired up with controversies. First, Rosaiah’s resignation, then Kiran Kumar's appointment following which Jagan Mohan Reddy and his mother resigned from their respective seats.

It seems that Congress is going through a bad phase, be it scams, controversies or internal unrest, it is facing it all at the same time.
