GOOGLE UNVEILED its latest smartphone, Samsung Nexus S, with the Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system on Monday. Gingerbread is the latest Android version. The phone will support both 2G and 3G network. The Nexus S will come to the store in the U.S. via Best Buy on December 16.
Nexus S features almost the same as the Samsung's Galaxy S. Youngsters pledge to spread light across the country
THREE HUNDRED students carrying solar lanterns marched on the Marine Drive footpath from Hotel Trident to Chowpatty, to launch a national electrification project ‘Chirag Light India Movement,’ on the evening of December 3.
The movement aims to provide solar lighting to 1000 rural households without electricity, located in the remote villages of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka. “We have planned to achieve this feat within a span of one month,” said Jyotirmoy Chatterji, 23, president of the movement and a student of HR College of Commerce and Economics.

Praful Patel says, new fares suggested by airlines can't be justified
CIVIL AVIATION Minister Praful Patel said on Friday that the new fares suggested by airlines cannot be justified and the Government has taken a serious notice of the suggestions.
Earlier, the domestic airlines had proposed a massive rise in ticket prices, ignoring the Government s calls not to resort to exorbitant fares. The new fares have been submitted for review to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Patel said the Government has found airlines are trying to take undue advantage of passengers by increasing their fares. He further said a new economic advisory council has been set up

Vodafone might take till 2020 to make Indian business turnaround
