THE FESTIVE season is on as the Dogwood Festival, the Sweetwater 420 Festival is going on in the Candler Park.This festival will be full of enjoyment as the two days will be full of soothing music and creative arts festival features live music of all different mind blowing categories with great food, and everyone’s favourite, SweetWater's lip smackin' brews.
The activities at the festival has already started at the venue with the SweetWater 420 Fest 5K Road Race today Saturday morning, and this exciting journey will continue on Sunday as well till evening which will be including environmental forums and exhibitions, games, non-profit booths and more in the Planet 420 Village.
People who want to have beer at the festival, have to pay $5 and they will get a wrist band to purchase beer. They are charging $5 not only for the purchase of beer but also some amount of the money will go towards the improvement to the Park. The festival is free for those who are under 21 or do not wish to purchase beer.
There are few wonderful events which people can enjoy at the different places of Piedmont Park but people have to pay some amount of money for those programmes. The shows include: Home Grown Comedy Binge Finale which is presented by Laughing Skull Lounge and starts at 8 p.m. April 16, costing $12.
Other shows on Saturday and Sunday is Friends of Dogwood Pavilion starts at 1p.m, costing $10-$45. Movie on the Meadow screening of “Psycho” will start at 9 p.m. on April 17 and is free of cost for everyone.
Adventure Base 100 traveling museum and family activity space will celebrate the Boy Scouts of America 100th anniversary on April 16, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. on April 17, 10 a.m.-5 p.m and on Sunday April 18 will be held at Piedmont Park that too, free of cost.
So enjoy this weekend with lots of music, movies and food with your family and friends and don’t miss all the wonderful shows which will be a treat to watch.
