THIS WEEK America’s Best Dance Crews, ABDC was less of a battle on the dance floor, and more of a group effort with a single aim. The aim was to raise charity for different organizations that work for some noble cause. ABDC brought back the winners from the past five seasons to perform as well as contribute to a charity of their choice.
The winners of the last five seasons performed a dance after which they came up with a group dance and donated $10,000 to each charity. Each of the five dance crews chose a charity from the web based group dosomething. The organisation provide tools for young people to render help for a noble cause.
For the record, Poreotix chose an organization that is dedicated to teach dance to the underprivileged children. On the other hand, the group We Are Heroes, decided to dedicate their performance to “The Sparkle Effect,” which encourages high schools to have cheer squads specifically for kids with disabilities.
The next group, Quest Crew supported Jordan Coleman, whose film “Say It Loud,” focuses on the significance of education to the youth. Super Cr3w chose to support Marvelyn Brown’s charity “Marvelous Connections,” which helps raise awareness about HIV.
Finally, JabbaWockeeZ performed for a website called “less than four” dedicated to bringing amputees together.
The show left people in awe both in terms of performance and the charity it raised.
