Peter Steele died: Type O Negative band confirms


 Rockstar Peter Steele, member of heavy metal band Type O Negative has died as he was not keeping well since quite sometime. One of the member of Type O Negative band announced in the afternoon after the rumors in the morning that Peter had died at the age of 48.

 

Mike Renault member of his band wrote an e-mail to an news website that "Peter passed away last night. As of now it appears to have been heart failure," and included that,  "That's all the details we have right now."

 

On the official site of Type O Negative Web site uploaded some messages for their fans in the morning, "The forums have been re-opened. Please play nice and expect statements from the band and family later today. Thank you for your understanding and support."

 

Peter Steele was having a lot of medical problems since 2004. in 2004 the band cancelled their US tour as their lead singer and bassist was taken to get tested for "undisclosed anomalies" found during a medical exam.

 

A year later, reports circulated that Steele had died. The rumor started after Type O Negative posted an image on its website of a tomb stone with Steele's name and the dates "1962-2005" written on it. That time it was just a rumour, but sadly this time  the news of his death is really true and confirmed.
