AMERICAN IDOL season 9 top three contestant, Lee DeWyze recently wowed judges and fans alike with his rendition of Hallelujah. The Hallelujah performance gained ground and its video has become a viral sucess on various video sharing websites.
The Lee DeWyze Hallelujah performance was one that had been suggested by a judge on the show; in this case Simon Cowell. When he faced the judges after the performance, they praised his work into the song, with Randy Jackson calling the Hallelujah performance his "biggest moment at the biggest time. "
In fact, the praises reaped by Lee DeWyze put him in tears after the performance and left him stuttering for answers in the post performance interview with Ryan Seacrest.
With the final three contestants holding the fort, after a visit to their hometowns, the American Idol season 9 is heading towards a grand finale by next week. The fact that one of the three performers will be leaving tonight isn't lost out on anyone. Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox are speculated to be the main competition in the final three, even as Casey James, in a recent Idol episode said he was "just happy to be here."
