A JUDGE has issued a warrant for Lindsay Lohan’s arrest, after the actress missed the mandatory hearing on Thursday. The judges set the bail amount at $ 100,000. The attorney representing Lohan said the actress is in France and would be back to Los Angeles on Friday.
If Lohan makes bail, she will be prohibited from drinking alcohol. She will be required to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet and submit to random weekly drug testing.
Lohan was sentenced to 24 hours of jail in 2007, for drunken driving case but she spent 84 minutes behind bars because of overcrowding in Los Angeles jail.
Earlier Baverly Hills Court judge Marsha Revel had ordered the actress to attend the progressive review in person, failing that she will be arrested. A celebrity website reported that Lohan,23, has attended only 10 of 13 alcohol education classes required for her.
Lolohan has been in France for the Cannes film Festival. She is expected to be the lead cast in 1970’s “Deep Throat” porn star Linda Lovelace in an upcoming biography film. But there is no official word from the producer of the project.
