Roshni Chopra won the NDTV Imagine reality show Desi girl. She was in the finale with Ishita and Kashmira. In the Grand Finale Ishita got minimum votes among three finalists, however she was on second spot till last counting. The NDTV Imagine reality show Desi Girl was played at Sialba Majri, a village in Punjab. Aushima Sawhney, Sambhavna Seth, Monica Bedi, Anmol Singh and Rucha Gujarathi were also the part of the show but they all eliminated earlier. Desi Girl on NDTV Imagine was started on 21st May, 2010. Concept of the reality show, Desi Girl was a different kind. All contestants had to live at Sialba Majri, a village in Punjab like other villagers. They had to do daily chores. All Pardesi girls had to convert into Desi Girl. Panchayat members of Sialba Majri and families of top 3 contestants make their presence in the grand finale of Desi Girl on NDTV Imagine. Winner of the NDTV Imagine Desi Girl, Roshni Chopra won rs. 1 crore as prize money. TV and bollywood actor Rohit Roy hosted this six weeks long reality show. During the grand finale of Desi Girl at Sialba Majri, all 8 contestants participated performed various bollywood beats.
