Three days long Dublin Irish Festival begins from August 6


DUBLIN IRISH Festival, one of the largest Irish events in U.S. is taking place from today Friday August 6 to Sunday August 8 at Coffman Park, Dublin, Ohio. This event will feature seven performance stages, 65 acts and more than 535 performers spread across seven stages.

Dublin Irish Festival began in 1988 with a handful of dancers and musicians on a tennis court. The festival, is now the world’s second largest Irish celebration. It is expected that more than 100,000 guests will attend during the three days long event.

This year in Dublin Irish Festival, topnotch performers including Lunasa, Moya Brennan, Saw Doctors, Solas, and Enter the Haggis are all set to perform. No fireworks will be displayed in the festival. During the three-day-long Festival, a regional Irish dance competition will be organized where 1,300 competitors of all ages will be participated.

The festival will take place from 4 p.m.to Midnight on Friday, August 6, whereas on Saturday and Sunday, it will start from 11 a.m. to midnight. General tickets for the people of the age group of 13 to 59 years will be available at a price of $10 and tickets for senior citizen and military will be available for $7.
