TATA TELESERVICES and Acer have joined hands to launch the new netbook Aspire One AOD 260. The netbook comes with built-in Tata Photon and boasts of an internet speed of up to 3.1 Mbps.
The said netbook will make use of the HSIA technology on TTSL’s CDMA network and provide the users with a broadband connectivity.
The mini gadget has a 10.1 inches screen and a 16:9 aspect ratio, Intel Atom N450 CPU, a 1. 3 megapixel camera, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 160 GB HDD 5400 RPM, six-cell battery with eight hours of life, Windows 7 Starter preloaded, three USB Ports, Bluetooth connectivity and in-built wireless capability,
The netbook is priced at Rs 17,999 and will be available in all TTSL stores in Delhi and Mumbai in the first phase of launch.
With the market flooded with options as far as netbooks are concerned this one sure has one different feature to offer and that is the built-in Tata Photon.
Netbooks have come as a wave of affordable portability in the market and taken a considerable market share by storm.
All big names be it VAIO, HP, Dell have their own netbook counterparts just t cut in the market size.
Whereas one brand might be considered on the top for laptops but for netbooks all the big brands are not doing well. It’s to see now how well this joint venture does with Tata Teleservices and Acer both being in it.
