DDA to allot about 16000 flats under 'DDA Housing Scheme, 2010'


DELHI DEVELOPMENT Authority (DDA) has announced that it will sell approximately 16,000 flats under the "DDA Housing Scheme, 2010" in different categories and classes. The announcement about DDA Housing Scheme 2010 was made by DDA on Friday. The application forms for approximately 16000 flats of DDA will be available from November 25th to December 24th, 2010. It is expected that the draw for the flats would be held in April 2011.

 

The registration fee for the flats under DDA Housing Scheme 2010 will be Rs. 1.5 lacs, which have to be deposited by the applicant, but for Janta one room tenement category the registration amount is Rs. 50,000. The cost of the application form is Rs. 105.

 

According to the DDA, one person can submit only one application, however both husband and wife can apply, but only one of them will get a flat in case both are found to be financially well-off. There is no need of income criteria, but the applicant can apply only if he/she has a valid Pan Card and a bank account.

 

DDA has come up with different types of flats to meet the different requirements of people in one of its biggest ever housing schemes by the authority. The flats are located at 17 locations in the capital like Vasant Kunj, Mukherjee Nagar, Motia Khan, Jasola, Dwarka, Rohini, Narela, Jaffarabad, Kaundli Gharoli, etc.

 

DDA Housing Scheme, 2010 will offer a mix of one BHK, two BHK and three BHK houses to the Janta one room tenements/houses. The prices the houses will range from Rs 9 lakh to almost Rs 1.12 crore in posh areas. The Janta Category one room houses will be priced in the range of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 6 lakh.
