Can Tiger Woods Win PGA Championship 2010?

WORLD NO.1 golfer Tiger Woods said that he has "done some good work" over the past two days in preparation for the PGA Championship. He was speaking these lines just prior to the start of final major of year 2010, the PGA at Whistling Straits. Tiger Woods also said that he wants to be part of the U.S. Ryder Cup team in Wales.

World greatest golfer Tiger Woods is four titles behind Jack Nicklaus’s record of 18 professional majors. Last week at the World Golf Championships Bridgestone Invitational, Woods completed the worst tournament of his professional career. He finished 18-over par and was tied for 78th in a field of 80.

The PGA Championship, which is also known as "Glory's Last Shot", contested for the second time at Whistling Straits, which hosted the 86th PGA Championship that was won by Vijay Singh in August 2004.

In 2010, the 92nd PGA Championship will feature a record 73 international players representing 22 countries, among 99 of the top 100 players in the latest Official World Golf Rankings. Defending champion South Korea’s Y.E. Yang will try to defend the season’s final major golf title.

World's top 10 golfers, according to the official world Golf ranking, including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood, Steve Stricker, Jim Furyk, Ernie Els, Luke Donald, Rory McIlroy, Paul Casey, and Ian Poulter will compete to win the final major of year 2010, the PGA Championship, which is scheduled to be played from August 12 to 15.
