DOC RIVERS said on Wednesday to return to the bench as the Boston Celtics head coach for next season. Doc Rivers said in a text message, "I'm coming back. I want another crack at it with this group." Rivers, guided the Boston Celtics to the 2010 NBA Finals and led the franchise to its 17th NBA championship in 2008. It had been rumored that Rivers would leave the last year of his contract (and $5 million) on the table, in order to spend more time with his family.

Cedric Benson Cincinnati Bengals RB arrested for hitting bar employee
CEDRIC BENSON, 28, of Cincinnati Bengals was arrested in Texas on Tuesday for allegedly punching a bar employee in the face nearly a month ago. He was charged with misdemeanor assault.
Authorities said that Benson was booked into the Travis County jail and later released after he posted bail.
On May 30 Benson punched the bar employee of Annie's West bar in the Sixth Street entertainment district where he got into a quarrel with another fan and injured his lip. After staff intervened Benson pushed a bar worker and abused the bar employee.

Wimbledon 2010 Fourth Round results: Yen-hsnu Lu knocks Andy Roddick out
FOURTH ROUND Asian shock for three time finalist Andy Roddick at Wimbledon 2010. An 82nd ranked player from Taiwan, Yen-hsnu Lu defeated Roddick 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-7(3), 7-6(5), 9-7 on Monday.
Strangely Lu had not won a single match at All England Club in past four years, defeated Roddick in four and half hour match. The victory came to Lu in the 16th game of the fifth set.
