Can tailoring of suits be a good outsourcing proposition?

CAN TAILORING of suits be a lucrative outsourcing business proposition? The answer is very much yes provided the core business ethic of ‘value for money spent’ is strictly adhered to. Some businessmen are visiting developed countries and promising better quality suits through outsourcing technique. They advertise their visit well in advance and offer 50 per cent discounts or more to some of the well known brands. The master tailor takes the measurement and sends it through digital computers across to his site which could be located some 5,000 miles away.

By the time, he is through with one client;

The Aarushi murder case sees more twists and turns

0 comments

By now, the Aarushi case has proved to have more twists and turns than an Agatha Christie whodunit. As things stand now the needle of suspicion has finally come to rest on the Talwars, parents of the slain teenager. Once again, the media, which had been lying low for a while, is whetting its knives for another round of half-baked theories and character assassination, without really having a clue about the dynamics at work in this extremely complex case.

Circumstantial evidence seems to be heavily loaded against the Talwars. But if one looks deeply enough, there are several innocent explanations for what seem to be highly incriminating actions on the part of the Talwars. Whatever the outcome of the case, let us remind ourselves of one important thing – even if the guilty go unpunished, the innocent should not hang for a crime they did not commit.

There are many reasons why some people believe that the Talwars are

NAGPUR IS famous for its juicy, sweet oranges. Well most of us have just heard about that. Maharashtrian Alphonsoes are of the best variety, and are the tastiest mangoes on planet earth. However, for most of Indians, what they pick from the market might not be of the greatest quality because the best ones are exported!

Recently, someone I know went to Nagpur and on their way back they tried finding the ‘Nagpur Orange’ but they could not. The oranges they bought neither had the colour, nor fragrance and juice. A kanjeevaram silk saree that is exported, I bet you cannot find that jaw-dropping quality silk

Chief Minister's Personal Security Officer (PSO) wipes her shoes

INDIAN LEADER always expect royal treatment from all after becoming MPs, MLAs and ministers. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati is quite well known to throw tantrums and getting things done her way. She may call herself ‘Dalit ki Beti’ but she likes to live life like king-size in public as well as in private space.

Believe it or not, Mayawati’s Personal Security Officer (PSO) went beyond his call of duty, when he cleaned the Chief Minister’s shoes during her recent visit to village in Auraiaya district of Uttar Pradesh.
