THIS COULD happen only in Gurgaon, where the law and order situation is going down the abyss every passing day. In a stunning incident, which reveals the callous attitude of the Gurgaon police, three alleged thieves caught red handed, while stealing from the premises of a private company in Palam Vihar, Gurgaon made good their escape, while the police officials at the newly built police station squabbled over the timing of the crime.
The incident happened on May 13, when two security guards provided by Walson Securitas, a big firm in security business, were caught red handed while handing over stolen goods to two youth. They were caught by security personnel belonging to 24-Guarding Private Limited, which takes care of security of the Ansal Triangle and Palam Vihar.
Identified as Jitender Tiwari and Rakesh Verma, the two security guards of Walson Securitas were caught in the morning with valuable equipment including laptops, computer hard disks, one projector and number of related things.
Immediately after being caught, the local police was called in and a police rider in Gypsy number 23 (As can be seen in the picture) came promptly and took hold of the accused. They were questioned and later taken to the police station where the real drama took place as a dispute arose among the police officials regarding the timing of the incident.
