The disputed site is the birth place of Lord Ram. Place of birth is a juristic person and is a deity. It is personified as the spirit of divine worshipped as birth place of Lord Rama as a child.

Spirit of divine ever remains present every where at all times for any one to invoke at any shape or form in accordance with his own aspirations and it can be shapeless and formless also.

Useful remedies to prevent water retention

SOME PEOPLE notice puffiness on their face, swelling on their feet usually in the morning; this is because of water retention in the body. This occurs only when water is not removed by the body; it is retained in the body tissues.

Water retention firstly occurs in legs, feet or sometimes on face, hands and other parts of the body. This may be due to some diseases like hypertension, PCOD, hypothyroidism etc or in case of menopause or PMS or may be due to wrong eating patterns like eating excessive salt in dinner, late night dinners, eating curd and rice at night.

It is time to stop the skepticism on the Commonwealth Games

I AM sorry readers; I was among the first, who started writing about negativism around the Commonwealth Games. Now I feel it is time to stop the skepticism on the forthcoming Commonwealth Games. Actually, the global media has a habit of anticipating and blowing the lid out of proportion before almost major sporting events.

There have been enough instances, when Beijing was blamed too polluted for players and visiting delegations, preparations in Athens were described as nil, South Africa had numerous negativities et al. However, all the countries successfully hosted their respective events.

The entire world is tarnishing

Amend election laws for better governance

INDIA IS a country of multiple religions, castes, tribes, languages and so on. Its nationalism is a sum total of all these ingredients, each one of these is capable of inflicting severe injury to its well being. Vast majority of population, particularly in hinterland, is illiterate, underfed and debt ridden. They are generally in gripe of local chieftain or mafia and are forced to follow his dictum.

Illiteracy and ignorance renders individuals incapable to comprehend issues, whereas hunger and poverty forces them to go for easy money in exchange of the right for independent decision. They have no guilt feeling particularly when he sees state

Political brinkmanship should be avoided over development

IT WAS certainly improper on part of Union Railway Minister when West Bengal Chief Minister was not invited to foundation-stone laying-ceremony of a new Metro-Line in Kolkatta by President of India on September 22,  forcing the state Chief Minister to skip the dinner hosted by state government in honour of the President.

President’s Secretariat should take up the matter with all seriousness with Union Railway Ministry to express concern over this incident which unnecessarily dragged President of India in such deliberate show of insult

WHAT IS the star attraction of Commonwealth Games 2010? It is not our Indian athletes or any other player or Prince Charles or other foreign dignitaries but a multi-crore showpiece,  an aerostat (helium balloon), which is going to steal the show during the Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

It is for the first time that such a massive balloon will be used for any entertainment/sporting event in India. The white gigantic helium filled balloon has been made at a cost of 70 crore rupees and  floated 10 metres above the ground inside the stadium.

Should cricket betting in India be legalised?

IF ANY cricket team can be guaranteed to create more headlines off the cricket field then on it, it is Pakistan. It is shame that no other team in international level sports has the talent to be in the news for all the ridiculous reasons that Pakistan has.

Match fixing charges are not new for them, every year wherever the team plays, Pakistan cricket team is charged with ball tempering or match fixing. The same story of denials is repeated by International Cricket Council (ICC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), who promise stringent action but fail to act.
